Whole School Assembly about Hate Crime

On Monday 16^th October we were joined in school by our PCSO’s Tom and Ali who delivered a very informative assembly to all of our pupils about Hate Crime. The covered topics such as ‘what is a hate crime?’ ‘why hate crime is against the law’ and provided some real life examples that the police have dealt with. Pupils were then able to ask lots of important questions to our community policing team and continue the discussion and learning into their PHSE lessons. One of our pupils then got to spend some extra time with our PCSO’s learning about the role of our community policing team and even joining them for a little while.
