Museum of Making - Primary 2 class

Primary 2 had a wonderful trip to the museum of making in Derby this week as part of our topic ‘modern Britain’. They enjoyed seeing the comparisons between old and new technology and marvelled at the age of the building and how it was the first factory in the world. There was lots for them to get involved in including connecting the cogs at the mill, building bridges and cars and they finished the whole thing off by watching the model train race around the tracks.
